I've been professionally writing since I was 19 years old. I'm the Features Editor at Urbanette Magazine, North America's longest running online magazine, est. in 1995, and the Director of Partnerships for Project Migration, a fashion accessories company with a charitable initiative.

Previous to working at URBANETTE (www.Urbanette.com), I worked at Teen People, while writing for Beautiful Girl magazine, the Desert Post and Palm Springs Life magazine.

I hold a BA in Liberal Studies (emphasis in English & Creative Writing), and a BS in Anthropology from University of California, Riverside. My work can be seen on websites like Womenswriters.net, Future Earth Magazine, and in the latest issue of Platte Valley Review. I completed my MFA in Fiction writing from the UCR Palm Desert MFA program in December 2009.

More on Project Migration and what we are all about can be found at www.projectmigration.org.
